HOW TO PUT IN FOCUS YOUR CAMERA

This Colour Intraoral Camera has a magnifying lens that permits you to amplify the images of a dental piece up to 500 times the actual size. This way, the visible damages are magnified and the invisible ones, like little cracks and tartar, can be clearly seen.

It has a manual focus, which is regulated turning the lens with just a finger. Once it is adjusted, it can be taken images from a distance of 1 cm. in an intraoral way and at an infinite distance in an extra-oral way.

Note:

To have close-up views at short distances / unscrew the lens to the left to have a higher magnification.

To have views of the whole face / screw the lens to the right to have a distant view of the image.

To have close-ups in a quick way (example to have a view from a distance of 1 cm.)

To save time when you are focusing , it is convenient to measure in an incisor the distance of the image to achieve inside the patientīs mouth.

Unscrew the lens placing the camera nearer at the same time. When you are 2 cm. distant from an incisor and the image is in focus and clear, then you can go to the molar or another piece of the inside of the mouth.

It is important for you to know that when you regulate your camera at a distance of 2 cm. you will have to keep between 1 and 2 cm. which is the self-correction margin that the focus system has.

The distance mentioned before (2 cm.) is just an example, since the approaches of the DV camera can be of up to 0.5 mm. from the piece to treat.
